2017 Cuvee Romy Pinot Noir
93 PTS from Paul Gregutt, Editors' Choice from Wine Enthusiast
The last wine to be released by Gypsy Dancer Wines, this single clone (Dijon clone 828) and single vineyard, Lia's Vineyard, Chehalem Mountains AVA.
Deeply perfumed on the nose invoke red and dark berries, baking spices and potpouri. A rare fruit filled sweetness on the front palate is replaced with a dark width in mid. The whole cluster fermentation promotes earthy spices, along with black raspberries and cherry-cola. The wine is dense and satiny. The finish lingers on and on through the wines tight-knit tannins.
